Katy Perry performs at amfAR’s 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Event

Pop sensation Katy Perry performed a collection of her hits on May 19 at the American Foundation for AIDS Research’s (amfAR) annual Cinema Against AIDS fundraiser during this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Variety’s New York Bureau Chief Ramin Setoodeh was on site for Perry’s concert and tweeted that the singer “finally” went on stage at 1:00 a.m. donning a high ponytail and gold-fringed dress.

The “I Kissed A Girl” hitmaker performed songs like “Roar,” “Firework” and a spiced up rendition of “Teenage Dream.”

Perry has been busy launching her latest endeavour with Covergirl Cosmetics: The Katy Kat Collection.

Included in the set of cat-themed products is multiple shades of lipsticks and a black and blue mascara.

The make-up line celebrated the launch of the new Katy Kat Matte collection with an event in Toronto featuring displays of each colour.
